Launching the Writer's Notebook

This unit was designed to help launch the Writer's Notebook in the classroom. I worked collaboratively with two of my peers to create a plan for launching the notebook, as well as six "your turn" lessons to use include in the notebook. Along with this unit is a rationale for why the Writer's Notebook and mentor texts should be used in the classroom.
